Events

 

NAMI Keystone Pennsylvania’s 18th annual NAMIWalks took place on Sunday, Oct. 6, 2024, at Monroeville Community Park West.  It was a beautiful day for hundreds of supporters of all ages to walk to end mental health stigma and spread the word that treatment works and recovery is possible.  

The walk featured music, resource tables, food trucks, face painting, selfie stations, balloon artists, and more! Honorary Chair, WTAE-TV News Anchor Michelle Wright, emceed the event and NAMIWalks Chair, Sherry Shaffer, Chief Government Programs Officer at Community Care Behavioral Health, delivered welcoming remarks. UPMC Health Plan and UPMC Community Care Behavioral Health Organization are the event’s Platinum Sponsors.


So far, this year’s NAMIWalks Keystone PA has raised more than $116,000 – thank you!  But we are still working toward our ultimate goal of $170,000.  Will you help us?  Fundraising continues until Wednesday, Dec. 4.  All donations fund the support groups, education programs, and advocacy initiatives we offer throughout the year.
