Mental Health Advocacy Day 2026 is taking place on Monday, May 4, at the Pennsylvania State Capitol from 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM. Join us as we elevate lived experience, celebrate recovery, build connections, and advocate for the supports and resources that strengthen our communities.

The annual 2-day event is an opportunity for peers, caregivers, advocates, and mental health professionals to experience a one-of-a-kind conference that will provide a platform to learn, share, and network. It will feature keynote presentations, workshops, resource tables, and networking.

NAMICon is where hundreds of dynamic and important voices unite to improve mental health for all through awareness, education, and advocacy. It's where personal journeys are celebrated, positive change takes root, and new connections and community cultivate a safe space, fostering support, hope, and healing.

The summit addresses the unique challenges that members of Pittsburgh's Black community are facing, how stigma can be a barrier to seeking treatment, and the obstacles experienced when getting help.

Every year, hundreds of supporters of all ages walk to end mental health stigma and spread the word that treatment works and recovery is possible. The family-friendly event features music, resource tables, food trucks, face painting, selfie stations, and balloon artists.

This is a community-focused suicide awareness conference sponsored by the Suicide Awareness For Everyone (SAFE) Task Force of Allegheny County.
